Doing What I Love to Do

Posted in Uncategorized on August 17th, 2017

I have loved flowers ever since I was a young girl. I would plant flowers in our yard and make beautiful arrangements with them, and then I would give them to all the neighbors. I don’t think it surprised anyone when I became a florist. I worked for someone else for nearly two years, but I realized that I needed my own creative process to matter, so I opened my own flower shop. Before I did, I looked at everything i would need, including flyer printing and distribution in Singapore.

The reason that was so important to me is because I knew that I was going to have to make myself known to people. There were already two established flower shops in town, so I wanted to get my name out there as the new florist in town. Read the rest of this entry »

I Hurt My Back Moving

Posted in Uncategorized on August 17th, 2017

I have been thinking about what to do about the pain in my back. It started after I moved my stuff to a apartments for Mission Viejo. It is not constant, but it does come and go. In particular I often get real stiffness in the morning when I am trying to get out of the bed. Of course the obvious thing to do is to go see a chiropractor and that is what really makes the most sense. However you really have to think a lot about who you trust and the reasons are very clear if you look carefully at how a chiropractor does what he is doing. Read the rest of this entry »

Our Apartment in Colorado is Really Nice

Posted in Uncategorized on August 15th, 2017

I have lived the majority of my life in Georgia, so I knew that moving to Colorado was going to be a whole new world for me. It was a move that I definitely looked forward to, especially because it meant that my wife and I along with our daughter were finally going to start living out our dreams. We did not have a lot of time to get things sorted though, so we decided to look at apartments in Colorado Springs rather than a house right away. We knew that it would be better for us to get used to the area before settling in any specific area without knowing the lay of the land there.

My wife is a stay at home mom, so I knew that she would be able to explore the different areas so she could determine what area we wanted to buy a house. Read the rest of this entry »

Live the Life You Have Always Wanted

Posted in Uncategorized on August 14th, 2017

Living in California has always been a dream of mine. I grew up in Illinois, a land lock state. The only time I ever got to go to the beach was when my parents would take me to Florida once a year. But I always dreamt of living in California near the ocean. So after my parents split up, my mother and I decided to live the dream and move to California. We needed to find a nice apartment. I did a internet search for oceanside luxury apartments .

My mother and I had some very specific needs since we would be sharing the apartment. Read the rest of this entry »

I Moved Across the Country

Posted in Uncategorized on August 11th, 2017

My birth mother put me up for adoption when I was just a few days old. I used to struggle with that until I met her a few years ago for the first time and she explained why she did that. It was then that I realized just how much she did love me, and I wanted to get to know her better. My adoptive parents had both passed away, so I was happy when my birth mom suggested that I look at apartments for rent in Colton CA.

I was living in Ohio at the time and she was across the country in California, which meant that the majority of our interaction was done online. Being in the same city as her though, that would take our relationship to a whole new level. It would also allow me to get to know my younger sister and brother along with their families. I immediately started looking at apartments there, and I found a really nice one at The District. I didn’t need anything huge, so the one bedroom unit was perfect for me. Life in Vegas is Amazing

Posted in Uncategorized on August 9th, 2017

Las Vegas is a town that so many people like to go to for vacation. While the main draw is the casino action, there is so much more about Vegas than that. There are all kinds of shows, rides and attractions that even the locals like to visit. That is why I wanted to move there, because I knew that I would never be able to get enough of it with just one trip. I looked at apartments for rent in Summerlin in Las Vegas, which is how I found the apartment that I live in now.

I was going to advertise for a roommate, but I decided that might be a little too dangerous with me not knowing a soul here at first. Read the rest of this entry »

An Apartment of Her Very Own

Posted in Uncategorized on July 29th, 2017

I was looking at a website for a local event, and I came across an ad that said to click here. There was a gorgeous picture associated with it, so I clicked it to see what it was an advertisement for. It took me to the website for the City Park View website, which is an apartment complex in the downtown area. I wasn’t even in the market for an apartment, as I have a nice home already. It did make me think of my daughter though. She has been living with the same roommate for nearly two years, and she told me not long ago she is ready to strike out on her own.

I knew she would be happy with everything that City Park View has. Read the rest of this entry »

We Finally Have an Apartment That Feels Like Home

Posted in Uncategorized on July 26th, 2017

We started looking for a new apartment to live in a few months before we actually moved. My wife and I were talking about the lease renewal on our old place coming up and how we did not want to be locked into another year there. We were asking about staying on a month by month basis, but the landlord said it was an annual lease or nothing. Well, that was his loss and our gain as we found a great place when we looked for new apartments in North San Antonio, Texas. What got me interested at the website for Woodbridge apartments was the hookups for a full size washer and dryer. I knew it would be a few months before we could afford a set, but just being able to have them inside the apartment was a huge selling point for me. I cannot tell you how much I despised laundromats and laundry rooms. Read the rest of this entry »

Great Location for Those with Children

Posted in Uncategorized on July 22nd, 2017

My husband and I looked into Tampa Florida apartments recently because we were both unsatisfied with the local school our children attended. We have twins and they both recently started kindergarten and right from the start we locked heads with the teacher and the administrators running the school. We had some issues with the curriculum and the school wasn’t responsive to our requests. I thought about homeschooling the kids, but as of right now we need to have two incomes in order to get by. That meant we needed to find a new place to live near a private school.

We picked out the school we wanted our kids to attend, and the school actually wanted them to attend, but that left us with a very long commute across town to get them there. That meant we needed to find an apartment nearby. Neither of us had a problem with moving, and our parents were willing to help us out if the rent was a bit higher than what we currently paid. So we went online and looked at every apartment complex within a ten mile radius of the school. We soon found exactly what we were looking for in an apartment.

Not only is the complex near the school, it’s also near a lot of other important places such as restaurants, shopping areas, and even a big park. When we went in for a visit, both of us were a bit in awe of the place. It’s obvious that the management take great care of the facility. It’s also obvious the people living there are a step up from the people we’re used to interacting with on a daily basis. I had my mother come over and take a look with us and she enthusiastically encouraged us to sign a rental contract. We can’t wait to start living here!

Don’t Rush into Your First Mortgage

Posted in Uncategorized on July 20th, 2017

I found out I was approved for the house of my dreams, but when I sat down and looked at the mortgage payments and how much I earned, I realized that my lifestyle would change a lot. I started to look for apartments in Far North Dallas because I wanted to make sure that I had a backup in case I did not want to move into the house I was in love with. I also realized that with an acre of property I was going to have to pay someone to maintain it for me because I did not have the time or the care to take care of a lawn. Finding an Apartment Where I Can Make Friends

Posted in Uncategorized on July 13th, 2017

My colleague has been really great about helping me find a new apartment. She’s lived in the area for several years now, so she had a lot of insight that I don’t have as a newcomer to the area. She’s been helping me search for apartments in Atlantic Station Atlanta GA. this area is located close to work, and it’s really close to major freeways, so getting around town should be really easy. Where I live now, I have to drive 20 minutes just to get to the freeway, which I really don’t like. It’s really important that my new home is close enough to the freeway, so that I don’t have to worry about the extra commute time. Read the rest of this entry »

We Took a Step Up in Living when We Found Some Buckhead Luxury Apartments

Posted in Uncategorized on July 10th, 2017

You can learn a lot about an apartment complex by how the common areas for the residents look. Plus, I can pick up on some things based on how the tour goes. An enthusiastic tour where the tour guide is really proud to show off things is a giveaway. We were online searching for Buckhead luxury apartments when the Overton Rise Apartments showed up in the results. I had not ever noticed it when we were out in the area, so I wanted to take a closer look. The grounds in the pictures looked great. The common areas looked brand new. I wondered what the inside of an available apartment would look like, so we scheduled a tour of the apartment complex.

We liked what we saw from the moment we drove up out front. The landscaping and the buildings looked great. This is a big giveaway as to what you can expect inside. If the outside looks shoddy, the inside of the apartments will be worse. This place was well groomed and very contemporary in its look. I was prepared to take a big whiff of the air when the tour guide opened the apartment door. Read the rest of this entry »

I Got Lucky in Life when It Came to Work and Happiness

Posted in Uncategorized on July 4th, 2017

I had been working at a clothing store for about 3 years when the manager pulled me aside one day and told me that she was leaving, and she was promoting me to her management position. I was elated! After I had been in the position for awhile, I knew that I should be looking into the apartments near Cumberland Mall where I worked to make my commute easier. I had been living about a 30-minute drive away from work, and it was never fun to lose an hour a day commuting back and forth. I found the perfect place, and I have been here for three years now.

I never thought that I would even be a manager at the store that I’ve been working at for so long. I originally just worked there to help put myself through school. Read the rest of this entry »

I Am No Longer That Scrawny Kid

Posted in Uncategorized on May 23rd, 2017

I have never been overweight in my life. I had the opposite problem. I was skin and bones when I was a kid, and I grew into scrawny when I was a teen. I knew that I could work out and hopefully gain some muscle mass to look better, but I just never had any luck with that. I went to the gym and did all the exercises that a trainer there suggested, but I didn’t gain a lot of muscle. One day about six months ago, I saw some T25 reviews online, and that is what actually started a change in me.

I had no idea what it even was, but I did like the pictures that was attached to the ad for the T25 program. Read the rest of this entry »

I Set Up Safety Barriers on Flat Rooftops and Have No Fear of Heights

Posted in Uncategorized on May 23rd, 2017

I have always liked skyscrapers. My parents have taken my sister and I to visit some of the tallest buildings in the world ever since I got an interest as a child. I have visited buildings with glass-floored balconies and have been happy to walk right out on them while my parents and even my brave sister hesitated. They have one like that at the Grand Canyon now. I work in high places, and I plan safe areas for workers to walk and erect wind resistant roof safety barrier systems. I have painted bridges and water towers and go rock climbing pretty much every weekend. Read the rest of this entry »

Improving My Golf Game Takes a Lot of Practice and a Little Bit of Golf Club Tech

Posted in Uncategorized on May 16th, 2017

Our son is into video gaming. He has worked delivering newspapers and cutting grass to build a PC gaming system that is unsurpassed. All of my disposable income goes into golf. It is what I like to do. My wife plays tennis, and I golf. Our son and my wife both golf a little, and they are not bad at it. I try as hard as I can to just reach the level of mediocrity at the game. I have such a hard time chipping shots from the rough that I searched for the best golf chipper I could find.

I have taken lessons and practiced my swing to no end. I even had everything from the drive to the putt analyzed by cameras and computer algorithms that, supposedly, would help me identify what I am doing wrong. Well, I suppose the analyses did tell me what I am doing wrong, but correcting it is easier said than done. Read the rest of this entry »

Making My Phone Look Like a Winner

Posted in Uncategorized on April 28th, 2017

Since last year, one online game has become popular with many people, both those who play video games and those who don’t. The game has been able to attract fans who admire the game for how fun it is, and for how creative and well designed the characters look. There is one female character that has a mech suit that is really popular. I love her look and wanted to get a DVA phone case with her on it. A lot of the cases on the typical online stores are a bit boring for my tastes. Read the rest of this entry »

The Second Bedroom is Our Home Office

Posted in Uncategorized on April 4th, 2017

My husband and I are both go getters. We graduated at the top of our classes, and we have already started a quick climb up the corporate ladders in our respective companies. When a headhunter for a company in College Park gave both of us an offer that was just too good to pass up, we knew that we were going to move there and see if the gamble pays off, which we both think it will. I took care of looking at College Park GA apartments so we could move in before we had to start working while he worked on figuring out how to break our lease without it costing us a lot of money, which he did!

I also succeeded in my own search because I found the perfect place for us to live. The Pad is a new apartment complex, and it is exactly the kind of place where we both want to live. They have so many different things that are so appealing to us. The first is the location. It is a quick train ride away from our new work place, and there are even days where we will be able to work from home. Read the rest of this entry »

Addiction Rehab in New Jersey Treats the Underlying Problem

Posted in Uncategorized on March 11th, 2017

I was watching the evening news today and saw a segment on addiction rehab in New Jersey. This was a very interesting segment on addiction. This place has a different approach on addiction rehab. They not only treat the addiction but they also treat the underlying cause of the addiction. You see, you can treat the addiction and get clean and sober. But a relapse is most likely to occur if you don’t treat the underlying psychological cause of the addiction. It makes a lot of sense and hopefully, they will be very successful in helping those who are chemically dependent.

The news piece went on to say that there is a long list of underlying psychological causes of addiction to include but not limited to post-traumatic stress syndrome, low self-esteem, loss of a loved one, insomnia and depression. They have different treatment programs depending on they cause and type of addiction. Read the rest of this entry »

Getting the Right Treatment with a Dual Diagnosis Psychiatric and Addiction Disorder

Posted in Uncategorized on March 5th, 2017

My sister has always been depressed. I cannot think of a time in her life that she did not deal with feelings of just being blue to not thinking life was worth living another day. She never talked about suicide other than to say how she thought family would be better off if she was dead when she was at a really low point and crying. She began to self-medicate in her teen years. She used cocaine to feel good and alcohol to bring her back down. It was not long until she needed dual diagnosis addiction treatment, and that is a hard thing to find in a lot of areas.

Doctors who treat the psychiatric disorders are not usually tied with the team at the addiction treatment center. She needed both aspects of her diagnosis treated at the same time. We were very happy to have located a dual diagnosis treatment center that could help her. It took a little time for her to lose the cravings and be able to resist falling back into the user mentality. Read the rest of this entry »
